Apparently there’s lots of opportunity to serve a market that either doesn’t know how, or doesn’t want to cook or prepare their own meals. The eat out role has traditionally fallen to restaurants, but now we have start up companies working to serve and deliver meals to a market willing to pay $10 – $12 per person a meal. Personally, I’m still waiting until we can all say, “tea, earl grey hot” in front of the replicator. In the meantime, we have options for the next best thing. Read more from the Wall Street Journal.
